Founded by President /Pit Master Trevor David
Our story started in 1996 when Mr. David visited his seriously- ill pit master uncle in North Carolina and got hooked on smokehouse BBQ culture. He returned to Toronto forever a smokehouse BBQ aficionado. Mr. David had a custom smoker built which he called “The SMOKENATOR” and started smokehouse BBQing on weekends for family, friends, and at various community events.
Word soon got out about the best darn smokehouse BBQ ribs and chicken anyone up here in the Great White North has ever tasted. A few years later he moved on from his corporate executive job to dedicate himself to the art of smokehouse BBQing and simultaneously spreading his deceased Uncle John’s love of smokehouse BBQ to as many people as he could. This is his way of honouring and paying homage to Uncle John’s passion and love for family, good friends, and great BBQs. Smoked meat is in our DNA.
From the time our ancestors sat around a fire and cooked their meat, homo sapiens have loved smoked food. I am confident you will agree that our Southern inspired-Northern touch Smokehouse BBQ meats and sides seasoned with love and the spice of life is the very the best smokehouse BBQ you have ever tasted.
